Hi friends! My highlight of 2022 is a bit of an easy one this year... I got married! My spouse Lex and I were married in Connecticut, in their hometown, this fall. It was intimate and beautiful and incredibly meaningful. Now we're looking forward to celebrating our first holidays together as married people :)
The highlight of my 2022 was welcoming the most amazing, thoughtful, talented, kind, generous, loving young woman into our family! You feel like you have always been a part of our family - sliding into it seamlessly! Thank you for giving us some joy in 2022! Your adoring MIL. (This just edged out Lex's graduation! No small feat, an amazing triumph!)
Highlight of the year was watching my daughter marry the love of her life, and welcoming this wonderful new person in Lex to our family. Looking forward to marking many occasions together in the coming years! Can't wait to spend more time together!
Two highlights: (1) running my first very own study/ field experiment/ pilot in Uganda (and going on a Safari on an off-day!), which led to (2) the opportunity to move back stateside for a year to do research there and, most importantly, reconnect with my amazing college friends (which may or may not include you Nora, and also excited to finally meet Lex!)
Closing out 2022
